Involvement for Xpression Participant

Brainstorm possible themes, ideas from which a story can be created. Develop key central characters, their personality, life history and from that develop a storyline that involves other characters. Consider target audience- what will appeal?

Each participant needs to:

Analyse, Design, Develop, Evaluate

Learning Outcomes for Student Creator

ICT for visualising thinking, ICT for creating, ICT for communicating, Visualisation in 2 and 3 dimensions, writing for expression, narratives, sequencing of events, editing with regard to audience.

Collaborative Potential

Two students although more students could be involved if given the time. Project 'teams' could work on modules for a Kahootz presentation then synthesized to make one overall Kahootz film. This would involve cross KLA participation and an integrated approach to the curriculum- probably more suited to primary and junior secondary if the school structure allows this to happen.
