Rationale
   
 
Students have already completed the inquiry/ research process in their unit "Antarctica: The Last Wilderness".

The technology gives students the freedom to create interactive, non-linear presentations, demonstrating the ideas and concepts related to their research.

The xpressions are then used to share research they have completed with their peers.
   
Student Tasks
   
 
 
Students select one area of research to demonstrate in their xpression.
Students use "Inspiration" to plan xpression:
Links participant can follow.
Worlds/ swatches.
Worlds/ swatches.
Objects.
Text.
Animation/ keypoints.
Students then build their xpression using this plan.
Student expressions are to clearly explain the research concept and illustrate it visually through animation, text, and keypointing.

Participant is guided through text and objects using world keypoints.
Participant can interact by selecting the path they wish to follow in the xpression.

View a peer's xpression.
Evaluate against the rubric for assessment.
